Frequently asked questions about the Storage Shelf
Answers by FurnEdu · educational furniture manufacturer since 2007
What payment and shipping terms do you offer?
Standard terms are confirmed with the quotation and are typically a deposit with the balance before shipment; FOB, CIF and other Incoterms can be quoted. Terms are stated in the contract before production begins.
Can the Storage Shelf be customised for our school?
Yes. Colours, laminate or HPL finishes, frame powder-coat colours, dimensions and storage configurations can be specified against your room list and brand standards. Custom work starts from a drawing approval, followed by a pre-production sample where the order volume justifies it.
What is the minimum order quantity for accessories?
Minimum order quantities depend on the model and the level of customisation, and are set per project rather than per unit. Mixed orders across a whole campus usually ship as one consolidated container, which is the most cost-efficient option for international schools.
Which standards does this product follow?
FurnEdu furniture is engineered to EN1729 functional dimensions where relevant and aligned with BIFMA X5.5 durability expectations. Production runs under ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems, using FSC-certified wood and ENF/E0-grade low-formaldehyde boards with low-VOC water-based finishes.
What accessories does a classroom actually need?
Storage for books and materials, a place for bags, a writing or display surface, and cable management if devices are used. In practice the biggest gap is storage: a room without it turns every flat surface into a shelf, and the furniture degrades faster as a result.
