When Dubai Modern High School was designed as a flagship smart campus, the school's leadership had a clear vision: technology-integrated learning spaces that would support a modern international curriculum while withstanding the unique challenges of the Gulf climate. The furniture procurement was not an afterthought — it was a core component of the campus's smart-building strategy. Three specific challenges shaped the project. FurnEdu worked in close collaboration with the school's project management team and the campus architects during the fit-out phase, ensuring that the furniture specification was fully integrated with the building's design and technology systems. For the **smart classrooms**, FurnEdu designed custom student desk configurations with integrated cable management channels and strategically placed power and USB charging ports at every workstation. The desks feature HPL tabletops with reinforced edges, steel frames with a durable powder-coated finish, and a modular design that allows for both individual and group work configurations.
